Planning a Thanksgiving meal that will wow your guests is no minor undertaking. It takes hours of preparation both inside and outside of the kitchen. It truly is a labor of love. 2020 has been hard on many of us, so let's make it easier on ourselves this Thanksgiving. Plus the less time we spend cooking, the more time we get to spend with our loved ones. I think that's something that everyone can get behind!
Chef Jeff at Mary Eddy's has created a to-go Thanksgiving meal in order to help us all feel less stressed in the kitchen this year. His menu has all the classic favorites that you would expect from a homemade Thanksgiving meal. From the turkey to the stuffing to the pumpkin pie, Chef Jeff really has thought of it all. And if you're not familiar with Mary Eddy's, it's located inside the 21c Museum Hotel here in Oklahoma City! It's a hidden gem our city is so lucky to have. The building itself is an old Ford Motor Assembly Plant and once you've been, you'll definitely notice the stunning architecture leftover from its previous life.
To celebrate this Thanksgiving to-go menu, I tried out one of Chef Jeff's fall recipes: roasted sweet potato and pancetta crostini. All the autumn flavors in one small bite and it makes for a super easy appetizer! You can never go wrong with sweet potato in my book.
Don't wait to place your Thanksgiving order! November 21st is the last day to order and pickups will be available November 25th.
